Senior Veterinary Surgeon and Clinical Director
BVSc MRCVSJules joined us in 2017, and has a keen interest in advanced soft tissue surgery and internal and feline medicine. He lives locally with his wife and two children, who often accompany him on adventures in the great outdoors – when the weather permits. A self-confessed aviation nerd, he also enjoys attending air shows and practising photography in his free time.

Armiche Fernandez Sanchez
Senior Veterinary Surgeon and Clinical Director
DVM MRCVSArmiche worked in emergency and charity practices before joining our team in 2021, and has a passion for orthopaedics and surgery, which he is currently completing a certificate in. When he’s not working, he enjoys reading, hiking, travelling and taking care of the two border terriers, Darwin and Diego, that he shares with his wife.

Andy Matthew
Director of Orthopaedics and Advanced Surgery
BVSc (hons) MRCVSBorn and raised in Poole and Bournemouth, Andy graduated from Bristol University in 2003. He has treated a huge range of species in the UK and abroad, including parrots and chimpanzees, and helped to establish Natterjacks. He now oversees our continued development and progression, and enjoys fishing, running, visiting local pubs and exploring new places with his family in their campervan.

Vicki Sanderson
Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc MRCVSVicky graduated from Bristol University in 2003, and worked in Cornwall and Southampton before coming to Bournemouth to make the most of the beaches and countryside. She joined our team in 2014 and lives locally with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys taking trips to the beach, picnics, walking, cycling and refurbishing old furniture.

Nikki Bond
Veterinary Surgeon
DVM MRCVSNikki joined our team in 2017 after a few years spent living abroad. She trained as a veterinary surgeon at the University of Florida and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, having treated exotic species like Florida cougars, Serengeti lions and Bedouin camels. She lives with her family and their dogs, and enjoys skiing, windsurfing and horse riding.

Marcin Zakrzewski
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVSMarcin (or ‘Martin’ to us!) graduated from the University of Life Sciences in 2012. He gained experience in practices across Poland before moving to the UK with his family, and joined us in 2017 after settling in Dorset. He has a passion for dentistry and diagnostic imaging, which he holds a certificate in, and is a keen archer and amateur sailor in his spare time.

Sarah Fisher
Veterinary Surgeon
BVetMed PgC(EAS) MRCVSSarah graduated from the Royal Veterinary college in 2010 and moved to Dorset in 2013, before joining the Vets2You team in 2017. Her main interests lie with birds, reptiles and small furries, and she holds a certificate in exotics. She enjoys exploring the Dorset countryside, walking, rock climbing and looking after the rescue rabbits she shares with her husband.

Louise Langton

BVetMed PGCertSART MRCVSAfter graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010, Louise spent a few years at a small animal practice in the New Forest before joining us in 2017. She has a passion for nutrition and the holistic care of older pets, and has further qualifications in rehabilitation and acupuncture. She lives in Bournemouth with family and cat, and enjoys playing the flute in a concert band, cooking and visiting the beach.

Liz Thorsen
Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc BSc MRCVSLiz graduated from Bristol University in 2005 with degrees in veterinary science and zoology, and has a passion for medicine, imaging and senior pet care. She joined our team in 2018, and outside of work she can often be found paddleboarding on the beach, exploring clifftops and forests with her family and walking her two dogs.

Alice Cravero
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVSAlice trained as a veterinary surgeon at Turin University in Italy, and moved to the UK with her husband after finishing her studies. She joined us in 2018 and has a passion for ultrasound and has achieved her certificate in diagnostic imaging. She lives in Parkstone with her husband, two children and cat, and enjoys going on walks with her family and visiting new places.

Bellin Cox
Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc MRCVSRaised in Dorset, Bellin graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013 with a degree in veterinary science. She cut her teeth in various small animal practices before joining our team in 2021, and loves medicine and surgery. She is married to her teenage sweetheart and has two children, three dogs, four chickens, six ducks and a sheep at home. When she’s not looking after her family and pets, she enjoys baking, gardening, sewing and running.

Meg Welsh
Veterinary Surgeon
BVMSci MRCVSMeg joined the practice in 2022 after graduating from the University of Surrey. She loves all aspects of patient care but has a particular interest in surgery and maximising the quality of life of our more senior patients. During her downtime she enjoys running, cycling, gymning, and cooking and you will often find her exploring the great outdoors with her partner, chasing after her cheeky Pomweenie, Watson!

Kim Powell
Nursing Manager
RVNKim grew up in Corfe Mullen and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008, before gaining experience at a busy specialist practice and achieving a certificate in emergency and critical care. She joined us in 2013, and has a rescue springer spaniel called Merlin and a cat called Mario at home. When she’s not working, she enjoys running and paddleboarding.

Amanda Lee
Head Nurse
RVNAmanda has lived in Corfe Mullen all her life, and joined our team in 2016, shortly after qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse. She has had many pets over the years, and now has a whippet, a mini dachshund and a collie. She has a keen interest in exotic reptiles, rehabilitative medicine, hydrotherapy, laser therapy and physiotherapy, and enjoys walking in the countryside and meeting up with friends and family.

RVNBecky joined us in August 2016 following the completion of her Diploma in animal management at Sparsholt College. Becky has always lived in Dorset, but hopes someday to travel the world to practice nursing in other countries. Becky qualified in February 2020 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and has since become a clinical coach to help train the next generation of nurses.

RVNEmily grew up in Bournemouth and joined our team in 2014, bringing her wealth of experience from previous roles at an animal rescue centre and a busy veterinary hospital with her. She is equally at home dealing with a busy front desk as she is in the operating theatre, and enjoys visiting her parents at their smallholding in rural France.

RVNLucy qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2005, and worked in busy practices and a specialist referral centre before joining Vets2You in 2015. She lives in the New Forest with her family and their dog, Marnie, and enjoys baking various treats, which makes her very popular with the rest of the team.

RVNCatherine grew up on a farm and spent many a weekend helping feed the cattle. Her nursing journey began in 2009 and she qualified in 2013, before joining Natterjacks in 2016. She lives by the coast with her husband and enjoys frequenting the beach, pub lunches,
anything Disney and watching live music, especially her brother-in-law’s band. -
Emma Ferris
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNEmma spent two years at a referral hospital in Hampshire before joining us in 2017, and completed her veterinary nursing training in 2020. She also has a passion for feline care, having spent five years working at Cats Protection. When she’s not working, she loves trampolining, pub quizzes, board games, seeing friends and playing the guitar.

RVNSuzie joined our team in 2017 and completed her nursing training in 2019. She enjoys nursing critically ill patients from intensive care back to health, and has a keen interest in canine behaviour. She has lived in Dorset since she was two years old, and loves exploring new places with her dog, Lucas, playing the piano and unwinding with her favourite music.

RVNRachael grew up in nearby Salisbury, and has loved animals from a young age. She qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2005 and joined our team in 2019. She loves the variety of her role, as no two days are the same, and enjoys walking her border terriers, Darwin and Diego, seeing friends and family and travelling.

RVNMaya grew up in London and moved to the south coast in 2013. She qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2020 and joined us the following year. She has a passion for emergency care and anaesthesia, and a soft spot for giant breed dogs – especially St Bernards. Outside of work, she enjoys running, swimming and looking after her dog, Diva.

RVNA lifelong Bournemouth resident, Beth has had a passion for animal care from an early age. She studied animal management at college, and joined our team in 2017 to start her veterinary nurse training. In her free time, she is a keen walker and likes exploring new places with her family and friends. She also has a rescue kitten called Misty, who loves the limelight!

She enjoys inpatient care, wound management and nurse clinics, and has a passion for emergency and critical care. She loves hanging out with friends and family, spending time outdoors and at the beach, and looking after her cats.

Gemma moved from Caerphilly to Bournemouth in 2019, and joined our team two years later. She has a diploma in animal management, which she puts to good use at work, and dreams of owning her own small holding one day. She lives with her husband, two cats and rabbit, and loves to cook and bake everything from sweet treats to bagels and bread.

Emily Flynn

Emily joined the team in July 2023 after moving back down to the area from Yorkshire and is currently completing her veterinary nurse training. Prior to her career in veterinary nursing, she had experience in managing rental properties and event organisation. She currently doesn’t have any pets as this allows her a bit more freedom to fulfill her love of traveling, however once she settles down, she would love to own a dog. In the meantime, she loves having cuddles with the various waggy tails that come through our doors.

Lou grew up in London and moved to sunny Bournemouth as a teenager. She has an equine science degree, and started her animal nursing assistant course after joining our team in 2019. She has a dachshund cross poodle named Max at home, who is loved by all the team and can sometimes be found helping out on reception.

Kasia joined us in 2022, after time spent working as an animal welfare worker at a rescue centre. She has always had a passion for animals, and hopes to continue to expand her knowledge of the veterinary field in the future. Her many hobbies include cycling, hiking, climbing, running, playing the guitar, trying new foods and learning how to solve Rubik’s cubes.

Lauren joined the team in January 2023 after previously doing some volunteer work at a local rescue centre. She loves spending time with the patients that come through our doors and always makes time for cuddles with them! She has a particular interest in dog behaviour and training and keen to develop more in this area. She has a 10 year old Cavachon named Padfoot who she loves taking for long walks and her other interests include gaming, drawing and horror films.

Sophie Melville

Sophie originally joined the team in February 2018 and became a well liked and familiar face on our reception in Bournemouth. She moved away in 2021 but we are delighted to have her back again after returning to the area and rejoining the team in March 2023.
Her favourite part of her role is getting the chance to have cuddles with all the furry visitors in reception as well as seeing the range of interesting cases that come in.
At home she has a rescue greyhound/lurcher called George that is her little shadow!
Outside of work, Sophie has a talent for face painting and prosthetic makeup and often does this for events and films on the side.

Natasha joined the practice in 2022, having recently moved to the area from Cornwall. She loves getting to meet all the pets that frequent our practice, and always tries to put a smile on our clients’ faces. She has a cat called Onken at home, and enjoys watching movies, playing video games, swimming, paddleboarding and going for walks on the beach.

RVNSanne began her career at a busy practice in Southampton, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2008. She joined us when we opened in 2012, and has enjoyed seeing our practice evolve over the years. She loves yoga, badminton, paddleboarding and exploring the outdoors, and has an adopted ginger cat called Ted at home.
